This event brought together creatives with different practices, voices and missions. It required us all to come together and bring to life a broader vision under the theme “Seeing the Truth”.
The WG Terrein hosts a yearly event where all the ateliers in the community open their doors to the public - this year they celebrated 40 years! It is a community that comprises of 80 residential, 35 working units of social organizations, artists, small businesses, and 120 artists' studios.
Buddhist Centre Amsterdam (BCA) is also a part of the WG Terrein community. This year, the BCA also joined in and invited artists to exhibit their work & explain whether and how their meditation and spiritual practices influence their work.
Five artists were chosen - one of which was the work of The Outspoken Native. Tara represented with two of her works at the event.
This is what it looks like when people with different practices, visions for their practice, unite under one theme!
